He was predeceased by: his father Bill Mason of Gaffney. He is survived by: his mother Helen Mason; his children, Josh Mason (Amanda Holland Mason), Brent Mason (Britany Henderson Mason), Seth Mason (Lora Carter Mason) and Kayla Mason (Anthony Westren); his sister Sherrie Wright (Kelly Wright); and his grandchildren, Hudson and Hayden Mason. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and great-nephews.
