She was predeceased by: her son Douglas Fred Hawkins, Jr.; and her siblings, William Sanders, James Sanders, Pete Finch, Ralph Finch, Geneva S. Riddell, Virgie Lee Sanders and Mary Lois Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Fred Hawkins; her daughters, Angela M. Godfrey (Lee Wells) of Gaffney, Cathy Smiley (Howard, Jr.) of Gaffney and Pam Addis (Scott) of Gaffney; her siblings, Danny K. Helton of Gaffney, Billy Finch of Gaffney and Kathrine Hembree of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Angelica Holmes (Lance Blankenship), Teresa Baker (Brad), Lisa Denson (Parker), Bessie Lynn Godfrey (Bryson Upchurch), Macie Smiley (Seth), Leah Smiley, Kassy Addis (Paul Davis) and Kayley Addis.
