He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Novella Jones Parker; his parents, Harvey Parker and Earsley Parker; his daughter Sibyl Parker; his son-in-law Mike Dickson; and his brothers, Gene Parker, Ed Parker, J. W. Parker and Charles Dean Parker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Faye Dickson of Gaffney and Dolores McAbee (Hambone) of Gaffney; his siblings, J. H. Parker (Joann) of Chesnee and Dot Pierce of Beaufort, SC; his grandchildren, Tracey Millwood (Scott) and Jimmy McAbee II (Tonya Fowler); his great grandchildren, Devon McAbee (Haley), Madyson McAbee and Mekenzie Millwood; and his great great grandchild D. J. McAbee.
