He is survived by: his parent Alieen Patterson Lydia; his son Eddie "Reuben" Lydia (Neil Severns) of Simpsonville; his siblings, Butch of Gaffney, Elsie Lydia Peeler (Sonny) of Gaffney and Diane Lydia Ramsey of Erwin, TN; and his friend Johnny Pennington of Gaffney.
