He is survived by: his wife Donna Coyle Ellis; his son Troy Lémon Ellis; his brother Richard Daniel Ellis (Darlene) of Gaffney; and his sibling's children, Crissy Swofford (Brandon), Heather Ellis, Marci Beth Ellis, Misty Ellis, Daniel Ellis (Anna) and Matthew Ellis.
