He was predeceased by: his wife Wendy Garner Tessnair; and his parents, James Adam Tessnair and Nancy Byers Tessnair. He is survived by: his sons, William Tessnair (Cassidi) and Daniel Tessnair; and his siblings, Larry Tessnair (Kim) of Crouse, NC, Sammy Lancaster of Spindale, NC, Opie Lancaster (Etta) of Rutherfordton, NC, Brad Blanton of Mooresboro, NC and Debra Passmore of Franklin, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
