She is survived by: her husband Bob Painter; her sons, Hampton Painter III (Tina) of Greer, SC and John Garland Painter (Paula) of Marietta, GA; her sisters, Jo Simmons Aiken of New Bern, NC and Mary Ann Simmons Heath (Cantey) of Columbia, SC; her sisters-in-law, Sabie Moorer Simmons of Bluffton, SC and Bunny Jackson Knebusch (Don) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Allison Painter Nilsson (Eric) of Swansboro, NC, Dr. Robert H. Painter IV (Weezie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Joseph F. Painter (Kylie) of Lyman, SC, Morgan Caroline Painter Rybka (Conrad) of Arlington, VA, Virginia Anne Painter and Pressley Dianne Painter of Marietta, GA; and her great grandchild Thomas Nilsson. She is also survived by extended family and always remembered each nieces' and nephews.
