She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronnie Petty; her parents, Pearl Byars of Gaffney, SC and Talmadge Byars; her children, Merri Anna Allred (Ryan) of Lexington, SC, Brooke Petty of Boiling Springs, SC and Gan; her grandchildren, Alex and Emily Allred; her sister Kay Jowers (Ronnie) of Atlanta, GA; her parent-in-law Bennie Petty of Gaffney, SC; her siblings-in-law, Reggie Petty (Jane) of Gaffney and Rachel Farmer (Sid) of Gaffney; her sibling's children, Ryan Jowers (Kelly), Ivey Jowers of Atlanta, GA and Lauren Vaughan (Ryan) of Gaffney, SC.; her father-in-law Furman Petty; and her nephew Taylor Petty. She was also cherished by many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
