He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Runyan Patterson; and his father Clarence Patterson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Martha Roberts Patterson of Gaffney; his children, Andrew Patterson (Lorene) of Inman, Matthew Patterson of Greer and Sadie Patterson; his siblings, Jason Patterson (Jane) of Gaffney, Jamie Patterson (Nicole) of Gaffney, Jeffrey Patterson (Sherri) of Blacksburg and Renee Patterson Peeler of Shelby; and his grandson Sawyer Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
