He is survived by: his daughter Darlene Pennington; his brother Franklin Pennington of Dickson, TN; his grandchildren, Christie Benton Ledford (Michael), Terry Pierce, Ricky Peterson (Christy) and Tesla Pennington; his great grandchildren, Jacoby Sikes and Novolee Pennington; and his close friend Eugene Love of Lawrenceville, GA..
