He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Rhodes and Willie Maude Pruitt Rhodes; and his close friend Marrietta Spencer. He is survived by: his children, Michael Rhodes (Cindy) of Simpsonville, SC, John D. Rhodes (Adrianne) of Fredericksburg, MD and Tammy Rhodes of Inman, SC. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
