He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Cyril and Mary Adelaide Travers (Barrett); his sisters, Kathy Sitter and Carole Bell; and his brother-in-law Earl Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hamm Travers; his children, Michael Shingledecker of Floral City, FL, John Travers (Marisa), Rick Shingledecker (Paula) of Westerville, OH, Dr. Jeffrey Travers (Joan) of Centerville, OH, Anna Marie Stephens (Perry) of Spartanburg, SC and Jennifer Lighthiser (David) of Munster, IN; his grandchildren, Camden Shingledecker, Johnny Travers, Angie Odachowski (Andrew), Katie Nickles (Carl), Justine Travers, Dr. Jared Travers, Jeffrey Travers, Juliet Travers, Jessica Travers, Sydnee McAllister (Pat), Kelsee White (Brock), Nathanael Stephens, Evelyn Stephens, Daniel Stephens, Madelyn Stephens, Drew Lighthiser, Joshua Lighthiser and Victoria Lighthiser; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Travers, Luke Odachowski, Ryan Odachowski, Jack Odachowski, Kathleen McAllister, Emerson McAllister, Keagen White and Ellison White; and his sisters, Mary Morris (Michael) of Lancaster, CA and Sue Travers of Hesperia, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
