He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Ramsey Duncan; his parents, James Henry Duncan, Sr. and Fannie Cothran Duncan; his son Stephen Scott Duncan; and his siblings, Herbert Duncan, Bill Duncan, Mack Duncan and Judy Presnell.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Duncan Bridges (Tommy) of Blacksburg; his siblings, Frank Duncan (Lib) of Gaffney, Bernice Lowery of Charlotte, NC and Betty Ruth Dillinger (Charles) of Gaffney; his grandsons, Jeffery Duncan, Chad Duncan and Matthew Duncan (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Dylan, Carson, Carter, Royal and Madi.
