She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl Vassey and Gladys McDaniel Vassey; and her siblings, Winfred Vassey, Marvin Vassey, Earlene Spencer and Mary Starnes.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Richards (Karen) of Savannah, GA, Michael Richards (Lisa) of Gaffney and Kathy Graham (Don) of Savannah, GA; her brother Larry Vassey (Ann) of Union; her grandchildren, Khristy McClelland (Scott), Christopher Richards, April Brown (Adrian Lewis), Zack Richards and Jon Richards; and her great grandchildren, Amelia McClelland, Kirsten McClelland, Ryan Brown and Allison Brown. She is also survived by her husband and parents.
