It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Browning of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Buel Whelchel and Kathryn Marie Mode Whelchel; and her brother Gene Whelchel. She is survived by: her husband John Robert "Buddy" Browning; her daughters, Cindy Kelly (John) of Gaffney and Robin Mann of Gaffney; her sister-in-law Mary Catherine Whelchel of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan Bell, Kara Bell, Kelsey Jones and Anna Marie Jones; and her great grandchildren, Anzlee, Aryanna, Zain, Archer and Arora.
