It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Bates (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Arrowood Bates; and his niece Kristen. He is survived by: his father John Bates, Sr. of Gaffney; his siblings, John Bates, Jr. (Kathy) of Canada, Rodney Bates of Gaffney and Kim Bates (Brian) of Baltimore, MD; and his siblings' children, John, Eric, Clint and Shelley.
