He is survived by: his parent Wai Sim Wong Mak; his wife Hinlan Helen Chee Mak; his children, John Chun Sheng Mak (Wai Han Fu) of Boiling Springs, SC and Marie Mei-Ling Warkoczewski; his grandson Jason Ho Yin Mak; and his siblings, Tom, Bill, Alan, Peter and Nancy.
