He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Mullinax and Mary Sue Campbell Mullinax; and his siblings, Donald Mullinax, Randy Mullinax and Jewel Pawley.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Marlene Vickers Mullinax; his children, Ray Mullinax (Deanna) of Cowpens and Angie Miller (David) of Mayo; his siblings, Timmy Mullinax (Sonya) of Mayo and Melissa Tabor (Joe) of Mayo; and his brother-in-law Donald Pawley of Mayo.
