He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Williams and Shirley Porter Sullivan; his stepfather Joe Sullivan; his son Michael Dean Williams; his sister Cynthia Duncan; and his grandparents, Wilma Porter White, Lee Porter, Clyde and Fairy Sentell Williams.
He is survived by: his spouse Candie Horton Williams; his stepson Michael Stephen Horton (Tonya) of Gaffney; his sisters, Debra Godfrey (Eddie) of Gaffney, Lisa Ann Majeski (David) of Virginia and Denise Dixon of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Addison Horton and Kage Horton.
