He was predeceased by: his spouse Lonnie Mae Gaffney Davidson; his parents, Lawrance Davidson, Sr. and Mary Hunt Davidson; and his siblings-in-law, Horace Craig and Helen Hoey.
He is survived by: his children, Claude Davidson (Raffaella) of Galveston, Roy Davidson (Kerra) of Gaffney, Anthony Davidson of Gaffney, Bryant Davidson (Tracy) of Gaffney, Calvin Davidson of Gaffney, Melvin Davidson (Sherida) of Gaffney, Rosa Davidson of Gaffney, Shirley Davidson of Gaffney and Angela Houser (Nathaniel) of Gaffney; his sisters, Girtha Brown of Gaffney and Corrine Craig of Gaffney; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Hicks of Gaffney, Betty Lindsay of Gaffney, Bessie Mayberry of Gaffney, Katherine Harrison (George) of Gaffney, Ramus Moton of Florida, James Hoey and Bobby Jefferies (Debra) of Gaffney. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
