He was predeceased by: his daughter Shirley Anne Parris; and his siblings, Ed Parris, Boyd Good Parris, Lloyd Parris, Wade Parris, Elbert Parris, Derbin Parris, Bob Parris, Sidney Parris, Tank Parris, Guy Parris, Letitia Parris Barnhill and Janelle Parris Moss.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Upton Parris; his children, Chris Parris (Lisa) of Gaffney and Holly Parris Jollay (Lyle) of Gaffney; his grandson Preston Parris (Tori) of Chesnee; and his great grandchild Scarlett Parris of Chesnee.
