With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Katherine Fannin of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Kenneth "L. K." Fannin; her parents, Claude R. Ruppe and Lollie Harvey Ruppe; her siblings, Glenn R. Ruppe and Betty Champion; and also Barney Dean Mathis.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Mathis (Malissa) of Gaffney, David Mathis (Amy) of Simpsonville and Michael Mathis of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Katherine Jane Mathis, Jordan Joseph Mathis and Lauren Malissa Mathis; and her brother Claude Ruppe, Jr. (Carolyn) of Woodruff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
