She was predeceased by: her parents, John Furman Scruggs and Dorothy Collins Scruggs; and her siblings, Johnny Scruggs, Joyce Cody, Judy Proctor, Martha Foster and Kathy Gordon.
She is survived by: her son Hershel Scruggs (Melissa) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Blake Scruggs and Jonie Scruggs.
