She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dr. Bruce Ehlich, L. A. McDowell and Libby McDowell. She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Craig McDowell and Dr. Kimberly Ehlich-McDowell; her brothers, Josh McDowell (Amy) of Florence and Carson McDowell; her siblings' children, Evan McDowell, Charlotte Claire McDowell and Leah McDowell; and her grandmothers, Dr. Judy Ehlich of Cowpens and Elsie McDowell of Chesnee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lindsay McDowell Beach Camp Memorial Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church, 200 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340.
