He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Jones and Maggie Scales Jones; and his siblings, Henry Jones, Lewis Jones, Babe Jones, Steve Jones, Grace Jones and Ophellia Bynam.
He is survived by: his spouse Dallas Patterson Jones; his children, Dennis Jones (Joy) of Gaffney, Dan Jones (Karen) of Gaffney and Sarah Johnson (Carter) of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Erica McDowell (Daniel), Reverend Clay Jones, Claire Jones, John Carter Johnson and Drew Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Emersyn and Brayden.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
