With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Melton (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert B. Melton; her parents, Clint Caldwell and Fannie Stanley Caldwell; and her brothers, Floyd Caldwell and J. C. Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Rogers (Barbara) of Cowpens, J. W. Rogers of Gaffney, Shelby Henderson of Gaffney and Dennesia Peterson (Frankie) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Skyla Standridge (Mickey), Debbie Blakely (Ashby), Kevin Rogers, Rodney Rogers (Gina), Caroline Lee (Paul), Leanne Gossett (Travis), Julie Rogers, Brittany Rawling (Matthew) and Robbie Peterson. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
