She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nathaniel Montgomery and Corine Montgomery; her sisters, Rachel Vanlue of Gaffney, Clementine Young of Gaffney, Janice Tate of Gaffney, Linda Gregory and Ollie Hollis; her stepson Rev. Roderick T. Oglesby Sr. (Joyce); her great-aunt Estell Dawkins; her siblings-in-law, Pernice Smith, Sara Reddish (Elijah), Bernice Dawkins (LD) and Dennis Oglesby; and her siblings' children, Mamie Clyburn and Derrick Montgomery. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
