She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Roy Early and Tressie Clark Early; her former husband Donald E. Bray; her husband Plato Dixon Crowder Jr. (P. D.); her grandson Brett Bankhead; her stepdaughter Gina Crowder Suttle; her daughter Ann Elizabeth Bray; and her sister Mildred McCauley.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Bray (Kay) of Winston Salem and John Bray (Melanie) of Fayetteville; her stepchildren, P. D. "Dick" Crowder, III (Joanne) of Mooresboro, NC, Betsy Bankhead (Mike) of Lattimore, NC and Lena McWhirter (Alan) of Boiling Springs, NC.; her grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Madison, Taylor, Ethan and Hannah Bray; and her stepgrandchildren, Dixon, Dylan, Dakota Crowder, Clay, Lou, Jess Bankhead, Kendyl and Erin McWhirter.
