She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Miller and Bonnie Hazel Mullinax; her sons, Johnny Edward Pennington and Shannon Keith Pennington "Toby"; and her sisters, Loise Mullinax and Betty Jean "Josie" Pennington.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny R. Pennington; her daughters, Patty P. Thomas (Johnny) of Blacksburg, SC and Aimee P. Bailey (Ronnie) of Gaffney, SC; her sister Rosie "Shell" White (C.) of Blacksburg, SC; her daughter-in-law Lisa Pennington of Gaffney, SC.; her grandchildren, Melanie Henderson (Forrest), Neely Thomas (Trina), Brandon Pennington, Craig Pennington (Sam), Joshua Bailey (Kaitlin), Maura Bailey, Lane Bailey (Brittany), Kaimee Bailey, Carrie Pennington, Brett Ruppe, Leanne Scoggins and Kelli Wright; her great grandchildren, Kelci Thomas, Danica Henderson, Tanner Kirby, Kaleb Thomas, Trinly Thomas, Ethan Thomas, Kinsley Thomas, Jaedon Holden, Lindlee Bailey, Paisley Blanton and Kaysen Parrish; and her stepgrandchild Lexi.
