He was predeceased by: his spouse Lula Naomi Dellinger McCraw; his parent Lawrence Lafayette McCraw; and his brothers, James Yates McCraw, Rudolph Wayne McCraw and Wesley Dalton McCraw (Dock).

He is survived by: his parent Lucy Jane Jones McCraw; his daughters, Brittney Lynn McCraw Phillips (Dustin) of Blacksburg, Crystal Dawn Davis (Jay) and Jackie Diane McCraw; and his grandchildren, Madisyn Naomi Davis and Jordon Cole Davis.
