He is survived by: his wife Brenda Phillips Pettit; his daughters, Dena Ferrell of Gaffney and Donna Hamrick of Gaffney; and his siblings, Doug Pettit (Christine) of Spartanburg, Vickie Bryant of Rock Hill and Renee Raines of Gaffney.
