He is survived by: his spouse Bulah Scruggs Garland; his children, Leon Garland of Gaffney and Debra Dalton (Michael) of Gaffney; his stepson David Scruggs of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Crystal Wicks (Daniel), Melissa Kane (Justin), Andrea Sparr (Keith), Jamie Hamrick (Dennis) and Jason Garland.
