It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Vess (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Austin Vess; her parents, Lloyd Lyles Phillips (Hap) and Pearl Allison Phillips; her sister Rebecca Robbs; and her brothers-in-law, James Robbs and Winford McCraw.
She is survived by: her daughter Gina Vess Whelchel (Roy Thompson Whelchel, Jr.) of Gaffney; her siblings, Eckols Phillips (Vera) of Gaffney, Joe Phillips (Carolyn) of Gaffney and Millie Sue McCraw of Gaffney; and her granddaughter Miranda McIntosh (Nathan) of Anderson.
