She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Hammett; her parents, Lewis Foster and Vera Roberts Foster; her granddaughter Jessie Humphries; her brother Lawrence "Bud" Foster; and her son-in-law Rusty Trammell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Allison (Mike) of Gaffney, Linda Piercy (Bill) of Mt. Holly, NC, Gail Humphries (J. C.) of Gaffney, Cathy Trammell of Gaffney, Betty Jo Patrick (Frank) and Martha Eubanks (Doug) of Spartanburg; her siblings, Morris Foster of Blacksburg, Doris Gorman of Shelby, NC and Shirley Allen (Bob) of McConnells, SC; her grandchildren, Tara Tucker, Travis Allison, Courtney Ritchie, Chris Piercy, Curt Humphries, Julia Humphries, Alex Trammell, Mary Trammell, Holly Hyatt, Jackson Eubanks, Gracie Eubanks and Brady Eubanks; and her close friend Betty Ann Ellis.
