He was predeceased by: his spouse Donalene Sarratt Lemmons; his parents, Gothard Oliver Lemmons and Macie Wilson Lemmons; his grandson Matthew Cantrell; and his siblings, Freeman Lemmons, Dever Lemmons, Jodean Lemmons, Juliette Keller and Vivian Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Sidney Lemmons (Martha) of Gaffney and Cynthia Lemmons Cantrell (Marion) of Easley; his brother Perry O. Lemmons (Betty) of Atlanta, GA; his granddaughters, Kristy Lemmons Knox (Michael), Allison Lemmons and Lisa Cantrell; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Knox, Addy Knox and Hudson Ellis.
