We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2020, at the age of 94, Phyllis McKown (Gaffney, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Roy McKown; her parents, John Cleve Barnhill and Letitia Parris Barnhill; and her brothers, Edward Barnhill and John Barnhill.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy McKown of Gaffney, John McKown (Martha) of Gaffney and Phoebe McKown Weatherford (Rick) of Beaufort; her sister Beth Price of Monroe, NC; her grandchildren, Mia Bryson (Jason), Jay McKown (Jamie), Reed Weatherford (Cherimie) and Grayson Weatherford; and also Pam Couch. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
