He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Jolly Smith; his parents, Elbert Edwin Smith and Carrie Elizabeth Smith; and his brothers, William Hilliard Smith and Edwin Elbert Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda D. Smith of Gaffney and Collis Ralph Smith (Lenna) of Greer; his grandchildren, Walker Ralph Smith (Ashtyn) of Greenville, Lydia Ann Smith of Denver, CO., Christy Neill Berry (Dave) of Jacksonville, FL., Lenna Neill Dacus (Tommy) of Easley and Paul Michael Neill of Fort Wayne, IN.; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Patrick, Kate, Reeves and Levi.
A graveside service practicing social distancing and encouraging mask wearing, will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 2pm at Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery.
