He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hyatt and Florene Harris Hyatt; his son Kip Hyatt; and his brother Wayne Hyatt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hopson Hyatt; his children, Michelle Hyatt of Spartanburg, SC and Kendall Hyatt (Tami) of Moore, SC; his stepchildren, Teresa Henson (Newt) of Kings Mountain, NC, Diane Cloninger (Greg) of Lawndale, NC and Steven Whitaker (Wendy) of Blacksburg, SC; and his brother Keith Hyatt (Bonnie) of Roebuck, SC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
