Ray Clary Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Clary (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on August 15, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pinkney L. Clary and Alta Ruppe Clary; his former wife Frances Minor Clary; and his siblings, Jack Clary, Edith Whelchel and Sue Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Sanders Clary of Gaffney, SC.; his children, Jill Clary Stevenson (Dan) of Asheville, NC and Jay Clary (Delette) of Warner Robins, GA; his siblings, Guy Clary (Marrsue) and Doris Spencer of Gaffney; his grandsons, Ben Kerscher (Brittany) of Warner Robins, GA, Ellison Clary of Athens, GA and Andrew Stevenson of Boone, NC; his great grandchildren, Camille Kerscher and Leah Kerscher of Warner Robins, GA; and also, Mary Blackwood Starnes, Martha Blackwood Shaw (Jerry) of Gaffney, SC, Susan Blackwood Spearman (Danny) of Lexington, SC, Jennifer Spearman Swanner (Ryan) of Lexington, SC, Jack Swanner of Lexington, SC and Logan Swanner of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
