She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Metz Phillips; her parents, George Wesley Pitts and Agnes Eloise Revis Pitts; and her son John Wesley Phillips. She is survived by: her son Timothy Phillips (Erica) of Forest City; her brothers, Melvin Revis (Judy) of Boiling Springs, SC, George William "Bill" Pitts (Carol) of Rochester and Ray Pitts (Debbie) of Spartanburg, SC; her granddaughter Isabel Phillips; and her close friends, Bob and Janice Rudisill of Morganton, NC.
