He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverly Moore Mathis; his parents, Roy Dean Mathis and Delores Williams Mathis; his mother-in-law June Gardner of Spartanburg; his sister Kim Mathis Babb (Jim) of Gaffney; his sister-in-law Teresa Moore of Canton, GA; his nephew Chad Wylie (Nikki); his great-nephews, Hunter Wylie and Landon Wylie; and his great-niece Piper Wylie.
