He is survived by: his spouse Patsy Peterson Putnam; his parent Dorothy Hollifield Putnam; his children, John Putnam (Kelly) of Gaffney and Tina Putnam Mayfield (Roger) of Gaffney; his brothers, Bill Putnam of Gaffney and Chris Kennedy (Gail) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Katie Smiley, Spencer Lee, Derek Lee and Delaina Carter Putnam; and his great grandchild Gemma Smiley.
