He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Osment and Lillie Millwood Osment; his siblings, J. M. Osment, Eugene Osment, Laura Hall and Debbie Osment; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Osment, Junior Hall and Dennis Threadgill.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Sullivan Osment; his sons, Robbie Osment (Cindy Selden) of Virginia, Jeff Osment of Gaffney and Greg Osment (Carmen) of Gaffney; his siblings, Harold Osment (Sandra) of Gaffney, Warren Osment (Kay) of Spartanburg and Patricia Threadgill of Cowpens; his sister-in-law Judy Fowler of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Jessica Carroll (John), Matthew Osment, Eric Osment (Madelyn), Tristyn Osment, Trinity Mahaffey, Malachi Mahaffey and Marshall Osment.
