It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gantenbein Sr. of Gaffney, South Carolina, born in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Edmonds Gantenbein; his parents, Ed Gantenbein and Mabel Shannon Gantenbein; his children, Terri Jensen, Gigi Bell and Rick Wade; his siblings, Keith Gantenbein and Joyce DeFreeze; and his son-in-law Robert Humphries.
He is survived by: his children, Ernie McKenzie (Doris) of Idaho, Bobby Gantenbein, Jr. (Kim) of Gaffney, Charlene Humphries of Gaffney and Sandy Wallace (Greg) of Gaffney; and his son-in-law Danny Bell of Bullard, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
