He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Scruggs and Annie Faye Morrow Scruggs; and his brother Tony Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Foster Scruggs; his children, Roy Lee Scruggs Jr. (Elana Hall) of Spartanburg, Malachi Isaiah Scruggs of Gaffney, Trevor Martin of Gaffney, Kera Joy Scruggs of Woodruff and Christian Hope Scruggs of Gaffney; his siblings, Reggie Scruggs (Teresa) of Chesnee and Deborah Ellison of Chesnee; his grandson Gabriel Hall; and his close friend Lynn Jackson of Gaffney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
