He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Pittman Wilkie; his parents, Roy E. Wilkie Sr. and Amy Whisenant Wilkie; and his brothers, Paul Wilkie, Lloyd Wilkie and James Wilkie.
He is survived by: his son Reverend Timothy Ray Wilkie (Rachel) of Gaffney; his sisters, Rosalee Cobb of Gaffney and Tula Mae Greene of Rutherfordton; his granddaughter Chelsea Fowler (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Camden Fowler and Riley Fowler.
