He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Owensby and Daisy Whelchel Owensby; his sister Betty Owensby; and his brother-in-law Glenn Hill. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Millwood Owensby; and his daughter Ann Elizabeth Stamper (Jason) of Gaffney.
