She was predeceased by: her son Sheldon Lamont Thompson; and her sister Buline Mays. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Dean Rodgers; her children, Billy Joe Thompson, Barbara Williams (Illya) and Nena Jamison (Wilbert, Jr.); and her sisters, Ernestine Mays, Louise Ellis, Dorothy Ann Dixon (Mark) and Chinetta Foster (Vincent). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
