It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Spurgeon Moore (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Enoree, South Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ruppe Moore; his parents, Hezekiah Harvey Moore and Mary Cothran Moore; his son Barry Moore; and his siblings, Ruby Moore, Louise Moore, Pearlie Moore, Tom Moore, George Moore, Basco Moore and Junior Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Moore (Mary Kay) of Hendersonville, NC, Johnny Moore (Susan) of Irmo, Steve Moore (Crystal) of Simpsonville and Karen Clark (Rodney) of Virginia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
