He was predeceased by: his spouse Bobbie "Dootsie" Bolin Perry; his parents, Stanyarn Tindall Perry and Annie Mae Wyatt Perry; his son Michael Perry; and his siblings, John L. Perry, George Perry, Charles Perry, Joann P. Hames, Arvenia P. Wyatt and Peggy P. Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Perry of Gaffney, Catherine Perry of Gaffney and Lisa Clearwater of Gaffney; his daughter-in-law Judy Perry of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Brandy Perry (Ronnie Brawley), Jon-Michael Jolley, Kristina Jolley Wright (Jamie), Katelyn Perry, Christopher Perry, John Thomas Perry, Diana Perry, Jon-Emery Clearwater and Kristina Clearwater-Parker; and his great grandchildren, Kandace, Cecila, Kalyn, Aiden, William, Cameron, Hannah, Daniel, Brianna and Elaina.
